Crypto.com x DressX: Digital Fashion NFT Launch

Crypto.com NFT is teaming up with DRESSX, a digital fashion startup, to deliver the first-ever NFTs in the fashion sector. The collaboration will result in the launch of a DRESSX NFT store on Crypto.com/NFT, as well as the publication of several NFT collections and one-piece releases.

Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova launched DRESSX in July 2020. It might be a way to reduce the fashion industry's negative carbon imprint. Users may wear virtual clothes in their photographs and videos, which is one of the platform's distinctive offerings. These may be shared via the Internet.

“This cooperation opens up a new vitality and worth for NFTs, as well as a new distribution platform for AR fashion,” said DressX cofounder Natalia Modenova of the collaboration with Crypto.com.

In March 2021, the Aston Martin Formula One Team, BossLogic, Lionel Richie, Mr. Brainwash, and Snoop Dogg launched a curated platform for collecting and trading NFTs by celebrities and creators in art, design, entertainment, and sports, including the Aston Martin Formula One Team, BossLogic, Lionel Richie, Mr. Brainwash, and Snoop Dogg. The collaboration will result in the opening of a DressX NFT store on Crypto.com, as well as the release of several NFT collection drops.

The first was an Airdrop of a limited edition Crypto.com T-shirt delivered straight to their wallets as an NFT with the unlocked ability to wear it in AR in the DressX mobile app. DressX will produce a limited-edition collection of NFT pieces inspired by Elon Musk's SpaceX program on August 29.

All of the outfits will be worn in AR in the DressX app and will be accessible only to Crypto.com NFT owners. To contribute to Shapovalova's point of view, Modenova adds the two are excited to see this partnership get off the ground. She feels that this effort would pave the way for a new manner of wearing and selling clothes.

DRESSX's potential to equip NFTs with digital clothing and AR abilities, in particular, she claims, provides for a distinct digital fashion experience. What is more, it is a very real feeling. Kellie Gerardi, a well-known bioastronautics researcher, and TikTok star, reportedly ‘decided to wear' one of DRESSX's outfits in an Instagram post. Modenova further said that they are honored to work with Crypto.com.

Especially, they are backing the platform's goal of being carbon-zero in this manner. This metric is in line with DRESSX's fundamental goal of promoting sustainability. Crypto.com just announced its intention to go carbon negative in 18 months.

The company intends to offset more carbon than it produces across all of its operations. As a result, Crypto.com NFT's dedication to long-term viability has always been ingrained in the platform's design. Similarly, all artworks created on the Crypto.org Chain (a Cosmos-based proof-of-stake system) require significantly less energy than proof-of-work protocols like Bitcoin and Ethereum. This is only one of the numerous measures taken by the brand.

From digital-only fashion brands such As the Fabricant, the first to start releasing NFT fashion to recent designer players in the NFT game like Gucci, Burberry, Ben Sherman, and Nick Graham, to e-sports and gaming skins designed by Louis Vuitton, Moschino, and others, the digital-only goods industry is booming. DressX, The Dematerialized, Assembly.

Fashion, and 3DRobe are examples of innovative retail platforms that cater to customers interested in the uniqueness of digital wearable media as well as the sustainability aspect. Consumers can maintain lifelong possession of a detectable, verified item by purchasing digital wearables as NFTs.
